“We feel incredibly lucky to have come together at this juncture in our lives when our collective successes and failures can serve as building blocks for a healthy and happy relationship,” the couple said in a joint statement.
Among those who attended the private wedding are Robert Downey Jr., Jerry Seinfeld, and long-time friend of Paltrow, fellow actress Cameron Diaz.
An insider told People.com that “Cameron was very excited about Gwyneth’s wedding” and that “Gwyneth has been giving her updates and asking for advice during the planning.”
Paltrow also reportedly wanted the same privacy as in Cameron’s wedding back in 2015.
CNN said the couple first met in 2010 on the set of the successful musical show “Glee,” which Falchuk co-created and consequently guest starred Paltrow.
